A cast copper alloy foot and part of a leg from a vessel, probably a Medieval posnet. The leg is broadly triangular in section with a flat back and sides and a raised central rib running the length of the object. The fragment is broadly uniform in width but with a rounded terminal. It measures 40.6mm in length, 26.8mm in width, 10.7mm in thickness and weighs 49.58g. A parallel can be seen on this database in SWYOR-2BD225.

Unlike other examples of this type (e.g. SOM-BD0395), there is no 'hoof'-like shaping on the foot, instead being completely flat. However, this example is very worn.
