A cast copper-alloy mount, probably a suspension mount for a harness pendant or similar, of Medieavl date. It is T-shaped in form with a rectangular cross-bar that is triangular in section. At each end of the crossbar is a trefoil shaped terminal with central circular rivet hole. At the bottom centre of the crossbar extends a short vertical arm that is triangular in section and terminates with a double semi-circular lug set at right angles to the plane of the bar and with circular apertures to hold in place a now missing iron bar. All surfaces of the object are extremely worn, but traces of gilding are visible on all areas of the front face. It measures 28.38mm in width, 12.90mm in length, 3.67mm in thickness and 2.90g in weight.
This is a suspension mount, probably for a harness pendant, of Medieval date. It finds near identical parallels in examples from London (Clark, 1995: p. 69, nos. 73-74) and is of probable 13th-14th century AD date.
