Copper alloy button and loop fastener. Cast fastener comprising a toggle formed as a dumbbell button of two conjoined spheres, but with an integrally cast triangular loop springing from a thick central moulding between them, and offset behind the toggle. The loop is now torn. The dumbbell button is a form of Late Iron Age and Early Roman currency. Suggested date: Roman, 43-300.
