An incomplete copper alloy medieval (AD c.1350-c.1400) bar-mount with separate rivets, missing a small fragment from one of the end lobes. Overall the object measures 15.4mm long, 8.4mm wide and 3.5mm thick. It weighs 1.03g. The mount consists of a domed oval lobe (flat on the revese) with a sub-rectangular lobe at each end. Each end lobe has a rivet hole containing a copper alloy rivet. The whole of the front of the mount is decorated with crosshatched grooves.
