An incomplete rectangular copper-alloy Medieval buckle plate of folded sheet type. It is missing the back plate due to old breaks, now worn.
The front face of the buckle plate is flat. There is a central circular pin hole with a smaller circular rivet hole below and to either side. There is a further central circular rivet hole towards the attachment end. The front face is decorated with diagonal grooves. The back face is undecorated.
This buckle plate measures 34.40mm in length, 17.05mm in width, 0.75mm in thickness, 2.37g in weight.
