An incomplete medieval or post medieval copper alloy double looped spectacle buckle dating to the period c. AD 1350 -1650. The pin is missing. The buckle consists of a broadly oval frame divided into two oval shaped halves by a central pin bar. Both outer edges feature a scalloped decoration consisting of five semi-circular projections divided by four grooves. The buckle measures 31.17mm in length, 39.96mm in width and weighs 6.37g.
