A complete flint fabricator of Mesolithic to Early Bronze Age date (9000-1500 BC). The lithic is sub-ovate in profile and is concavo-convex in section. The dorsal surface has been invasively flaked in an irregular scaled pattern along the right hand side, and parallel along the left hand side. A minor amount of cortex is retained along the left hand proximal edge. All edges contain fine, semi-abrupt retouch with the exception of the proximal edge which has been blunted with abrupt and steep angled flaking. The ventral surface is invasively parallel flaked and is predominantly flat. The lithic is a secondary flake.
The flint is a light grey in colour with cream and dark grey inclusions throughout.
