Fragment of an early Anglo-Saxon brooch, probably a Cruciform or Florid Cruciform variety. The section just below the bow survives. This comprises a rectangular panel containing a central ringed dot motif. Three pairs of crescents decorate the perimeter to either side. A crescent shaped panel extends to either side, each containg three dots, or possibly ringed dots. Two transversly incised lines decorate below; and this leads to an incomplete narrowed panel decorated with punched triangles along the perimeter. A catchplate is situated on the reverse.
