A complete copper alloy halfpenny trade token of post-Medieval date. The token was issued by Edmund Greene of Husborne Crawley, Bedfordshire in 1668. Around the outer circumference of the obverse is visible the inscription "HUSBORNE CRAWLEY" and a floral mark. Within a smaller circle in the centre of the token are the letters "E G F" with the "G" raised above the "E" and "F". On either side of the "G" is a floral mark, and below the "E F" line is a centred floral mark with a smaller star on either side. The reverse is badly worn, but still visible is a circumferential circle within which is written in three lines "HIS HALFE PENNY" with three flowers or stars at the bottom.
