Roman copper alloy dolphin type brooch with spring mechanism. The spring, pin and foot are all missing, although the circular sectioned bow/leg is complete and ends in a small rounded knop. There is a single line moulding on either side of the head where it joins the wings. The wings are plain. Powdery green patina. Length 51.28mm, width of wings 17.52mm, weight 8.36g.
