Incomplete medieval copper alloy spur buckle, with most of the integral plate missing, the break truncating a rivet hole. The frame is oval with a convex outside edge. The D-section pin pivots in a hole through the plate between a very slight projection from both sides. Extant length 15mm. Width 14.5mm. 13th - 14th century.
