A complete post-Medieval sheet silver cuff link element (1720-1800).
The single cuff link element is octagonal in plan, convex at the front and concave at the rear. The edges are down-turned at an angle of about 80°.There is an engraved octagonal border with slightly scalloped sides. In the centre is a rose with four main petals alternately with four smaller petals or calyx. The centre of the flower is circular and cross-hatched.
Diameter: 14.9mm; thickness: 5.0mm. Weight: 1.56g.
The element is a silvery grey.
