Copper alloy annular brooch the has twelve collets on the upper surface, each collet is a circular cross section rod that projects outwards at a 45 degree, the tops of the collets are dished where a stone would have been mounted. In-between each of the collets are four dished pellets on the top side of the frame and an outwards projecting semi-circular knop on the outside edge.
On one side is a hole for the pin, the pin is copper alloy with an annular loop for attachment, the other end of the pin is pointed.
