Post Medieval copper alloy sword belt hanger. The object is roughly foliate in form, with moulded decoration forming a leaf pattern, a trefoil shaped terminal and hook at the base (now truncated). There are two circular fixing holes, one on the trefoil terminal and one above twhere he hook was, both are encrusted with iron corrosion. This would have been one of two or three fittings that together formed a hanging arrangement for a sword, date 16th-17th century.
