An unidentified gold or silver-gilt object. The object is a tiny cylinder with rounded sides. From one side projects a short rod and opposite is a shallow circular recess. Cast decoration comprises foliate shapes.
The purpose is not clear but this may be a fitting for a watch of a pendant. It's date is likely to be 18th or 19th century. It was not therefore submitted under the Treasure Act.
