Unique ID: KENT-A1D3B1

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

Sub-circular flat lead or lead alloy mount with four iron split rivets through it of probable Post Medieval date.

The surface of the mount is abraded and appears plain but there are a few indications that this surface was once decorated: a raised ridge with linear markings and part of a spiral.

On the reverse the split rivets are intact and still in their folded over attachment position. The rivet heads have a diameter of 7.33mm.

The mount has an approximate diameter of 50.78mm, and a thickness of 3.09mm. It weighs 35.46g.
