A Hod Hill-type brooch, the spring and pin are both missing together with the two side lugs. The bow is decorated with a complicated series of transverse parallel ribs and flutings. On the bow is a rectangular expansion with similar ribs, and flutings which alternate between thick and thin, arranged at 90 degrees to those on the bow. The raised ribs on the expansion have faint transverse notched ornamentation. On the wide flutings on both bow and expansion are well-preserved white metal surfaces.
