Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy harness mount, a bar with one end broken. At the other end an elongated lobe lies next to a rivet hole around which the front face is entirely obscured by corroded iron. The remainder consists of three rectangular bosses, their flat tops decorated with cross-hatched engraving, and of two short lengths of triangular section with a chamfered apex. Cf. SF-B7F806 and NMS-9E1DA7. A few specks of gilding survive. Extant length 40.5mm. Width 9.5mm. Thickness 2.8mm. 13th - 14th century.
