Incomplete medieval gilt copper alloy buckle plate, rectangular, corroded, folded widthways with pin-slot and recessed for frame, narrowed and shortened on broken reverse. Pierced by five rivet-holes. Face with tiny traces of gilding and engraved rocker-arm border. Length 37mm. Width 20mm. Later 12th-13th-century.
