A Post Medieval copper alloy leg from a cauldron or skillet. The leg is broadly cylindrical in plan and profile with a circular section. The wider end would have joined to the body of the vessel; the item narrows towards the foot. Both ends are angled at approximately 45 degrees; presumably this enabled greater stability for the vessel.
