A copper-alloy fragment possibly from a circular clapper bell of Post-Medieval date. Only the rim survives, the remainder of the object is missing due to old breaks, now worn.
It is everted. On the front face are two parallel grooves running around the bell, close to the rim.
This bell measures 25.91mm in diameter, 10.34mm in width, 1.89mm in thickness, 2.84g in weight.
There is a similar example recorded on the PAS database (SWYOR-3C2726).
