A complete but flattened cast copper-alloy circular button of Post-Medieval date.

It has a globular undecorated head with a flat back face and an integral large perforated lug.

This button measures 10.77mm in diameter, 4.57mm in thickness 14.98mm in total length (including lug), 2.99g in weight.

There are similar examples from London c. 1450-1700 (Egan, 2005, pp. 49, no. 180, 182-183).
