An earthenware pot sherd of medieval date, c.13th-14th century. The sherd has an unglazed pink interior surface, buff centre, with a patchy green lead glaze which has fine multiple crazing. The fabric is tempered with well sorted sand and is probably wheel made. The sherd is probably from the upper section of a drinking vessel/jug. Height of vessel sherd: 24.19 mm. Width: 23.70 mm. Thickness: 4.69 mm. Weight:245.3 grams.
