A tiny wall sherd of a ceramic vessel, of probable Iron Age to Roman date. The fabric is hard and irregular, with frequent large and angular quartz inclusions, mostly well sorted, many projecting from the surface. The fabric is dark grey. This may be the same type of pottery as SWYOR-6A0538.
Notes:
Pot sherds from dig site 30cm wide and 40cm deep. Further locational details available from the landowner.
