An incomplete copper alloy Roman brooch of uncertain type dating to the period c. AD 50 - 200. The fragment comprises the catchplate, foot and a fragment of the bow. The brooch measures 31.18mm in length, 4.31mm maximum width and weighs 3.37g. The bow tapers from the break point to the foot and is undecorated. The catchplate extends from the reverse of the foot and features a circular drilled hole.
