A heavily clipped Medieval halfgroat of Edwardian issue, probably of Edward IV (second reign). Initial mark uncertain due to clipping, possibly sun and rose or rose. Mint of Canterbury. The obverse bust appears to have a 'C' on it as well as a 'C' in the centre of the reverse cross pattee. Cf. North 1991 Vol II, p. 93, no. 1638.
