A post-medieval Nuremberg copper-alloy jetton of Wolf Lauffer I (fl. c. 1583-1601), rose/orb type, ALVNSER HAB IST GOTES GA legend (All we have is a gift of God), c. AD 1583-1601.
This jetton has been slightly bent. It has a shallow curved removal at one point of the circumference from the process of cutting the flan.
The reverse legend is not published in the main reference work, but is evidenced on this database, refs. SF10957, NMS-EFE6. Aspects such as the relatively short obverse legend and rendering of the name Wolf, as Wvlf with a 'v', indicate that this is a jetton of Wolf Lauffer I (Mitchiner 1988, 474).
