A fragment of a Medieval copper alloy a one peice Strap end. The fragment comprises one sub-rectangular plate with a circular rivet at the top edge. The plate narrows t o a tounge shaped pointed end. The outer surface is decorated with an incised with straight lines to create a geometric desing. The fragment is 70.1mm long, 14.1mm wide, 1.4mm thick and weighs 6.73 grams.
A similar example can been seen in Egan (1991) page 133 ref 611, c. AD1350-1400.
