A Post-Medieval (1600-1800) two-part lead cloth seal, with a stamped 2 to the reverse of disc one and a probable merchants mark across the rivet to the other side. Part of the edge is folded over and obscures the first letter of the inscription, which appears to read L E (or L F) with a long vertical rib between the letters, terminating in a W below.
Measures 33.67x22.86x3.59mm and weighs 11.19g. The diameter is c.23mm.
