One body sherd of a wheel thrown ceramic vessel, of Medieval dating (AD 1100 to AD 1400).
The body sherd consists of a Worcester-type sandy glazed ware fabric, which has an applied curved stem terminated with two small leaves. The types of vessels produced from this fabric inclue, jugs, jars, bowls, pipkins, and pitchers (Worcestershire Ceramics). The exterior has traces of a to have a light green glaze.
The sherd measures 8.59mm thick across the decoration, and weighs 14.7 grams.
