Medieval copper alloy spur leather attachment engaged with a copper alloy D-sectioned ring. The attachment consists of a rectangular plate with an integral loop springing from a short edge and secured by an integral rivet on reverse. Two other Norfolk examples of this arrangement have the addition of a staple that is engaged with the ring, from Gayton (HER 29715, NMS-2F5756) and Lyng (HER 52536, NMS-692453). Length and width of attachment 26.5 and 15.7mm. External and internal diameter of ring 17.5 and 12mm. 14th - 15th century.
