RAZOR

Unique ID: NLM-A86DC8

Object type certainty: Possibly
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

Copper alloy possible Razor. Sub-triangular blade with a straight flat back and a blade now tapering to a point, possibly because of recurrent sharpening. Towards the other end of the blade it now narrows, though this is possibly the result of damage in antiquity; it has a straight and possibly original end here. This object appears to have been robustly cleaned by the finder. Suggested date: Possibly Roman, 43-410.

Length: 56.7mm, Width: 11.6mm, Thickness: 1.4mm, Weight: 4.17gms.
