Copper-alloy half-follis of Justin I (AD 518-27) or Justinian I (AD 527- 567), minted in Constantinople, Nicomedia or Cyzicus, and dating to AD 512-37. For Justin I, mint of Constantinople (MIBE I, pl. 7, cf. no. 19) and mint of Nicomedia (MIBE I, pl. 8, cf. no. N42) and mint of Cyzicus (MIBE I, pl. 9, no. 57); for Justinian I, mint of Constantinople (MIBE I, pls. 19-20, cf. nos. 90-91).
