Medieval copper alloy buckle, oval frame with recessed ornate outside edge with grooved central moulding flanked by two large obliquely-set knops, offset narrowed bar with constriction for missing pin. Length 23mm. Width 22mm. Cf. Egan and Pritchard 1991, fig.44, no.299. 14th century.
