HARNESS RING

Unique ID: BERK-320BC2

Object type certainty: Certain
Workflow status: Awaiting validation Find awaiting validation

Probable post-medieval / modern harness or cart fitting. Sub-circular in plan (may be bent) with three decorative loops at the top of the frame. The bottom of the frame, where it is bent, appears to show some thinning of the metal, possibly due to wear. Uncertain function, maybe some type of harness ring or bridle piece.
