A pair of conjoined copper alloy studs dating to the Roman period. The object consists of two oval studs which are joined by a narrow rectangular tab of copper alloy. It is unclear whether the object is complete or two objects which were not separated after casting. At the rear of the object an oval sectioned integral lug projects from the rear of each head. The lugs measure 8.08mm in diameter at the base and taper to a rounded point measuring 4.05mm in diameter. There is no visible decoration on either head of the object. The object has a dark green patina and is badly corroded.
