Medieval copper alloy bar mount, for the suspension of a pendent mount, rectangular D-sectioned with flanking knurled ribs and a narrowed projection springing from the base, folded onto the reverse to form a loop and secured through its transversely expanded terminal by a separate copper alloy rivet. Height 14mm. Width 5mm. 1.5mm thick. See Egan and Pritchard (2002), fig.140, no.1198. 14th century.
