Incomplete and corroded Roman copper alloy Dolphin brooch, rearward hook broken, corroded solder at one end on the reverse of the damaged wings. Both wings are decorated with damaged and corroded vertical grooves and ribs. Remains of median rib between two broad concave grooves on the D-sectioned bow. Remains of triangular catchplate on reverse. Length 40mm. Width 30mm. c.43-c.65 AD.
