Incomplete and very badly distorted Roman copper alloy Hod Hill brooch, most of the catchplate and the base of the bow missing. There are faint transverse grooves on the head. The bow is of sub-triangular cross-section and tapers without interruption towards the base. Mackreth 2011, 141, type 10.c. Width of head 12mm. Extant length c.65mm. Mid 1st century.
