A probably post-medieval pottery vessel fragment; a wall sherd dating from AD 1500 - 1800. The fabric is fairly hard and is cream to light tan throughout. The fabric contains no visible inclusions ecept for tiny mica particles. The external surface of the sherd is coated with a cream slip and is painted with reddish brown lines in an absract design of diagonal lines and hortizontal dashes.
