A complete Post Medieval cast lead alloy uniface token of Powell Type 2. The token is slightly bent; decorated with a raised letter H on one face within two circles; the other face is undecorated. The token measures 17.61 mm diameter and is 1.56 mm thick and weighs 2.81 grams.
Tokens had a wide variety of uses and were easy to manufacture; they are therefore difficult to date precisely outside of archaeological contexts, but those with initials are generally given a Post Medieval date, c.1550-1800 AD.
