A copper alloy Medieval or Post Medieval leg from a cooking vessel; a cauldron dating from AD 1200 - 1600. Only the foot of the leg survives. It has a five lobed footprint and tapers to the ankle which is sub D shaped in section. The reverse and base are concave. The metal has a patchy green patina and the break is patinated. There are also large areas of soot deposits.
