An incomplete, corroded and misshapen post-Medieval sheet copper-alloy closed thimble (c. 1750-c. 1900).
The sides taper inwards from the base towards the crown. The outer face has horizontal lines of circular indentations on the walls and the crown has regular circular indentations. The rim is missing is largely missing..
This thimble is reddish brown off-white and green corrosion products. The break is old.
