Rectangular, folded plate; recessed with pin slot. Back plate is trapezoidal and plain, front plate decorated with raised design of a lion passant regardant on an openwork background. Thin copper alloy sheet sandwiched between the folded plates. Two rivets at attachment end. Traces of gilding.
