Fragment of the footplate of an Early Saxon copper alloy Cruciform brooch, all edges broken, consisting of the central parts of the scrolled nostrils of an animal head and the upper part of the spatulate terminal. Extant dimensions 16.5 x 15mm. Åberg 1926, Group III or IV. c.500 - c.550.
