A rim sherd from a cast copper-alloy vessel of Medieval to early Post-Medieval date. Only a small fragment of the rim survives, the remainder rnow missing due to old breaks. The surviving fragment is triangular in form with slightly thickened rim and blackened/sooted exterior surface. It measures 14.55mm in length, 17.25mm in width, 2.21mm in thickness and 2.08g in weight. This is a fragment from the rim of a copper-alloy vessel, probably a cooking vessel, of later Medieval to Post-Medieval date, c.14th-17th centuries AD.
