Lead alloy spindle whorl, late medieval to post medieval in date (c AD 1400-1700). The object is sub circular in plan and cylindrical with a central perforation measuring 10.35mm. It appears undecorated and is rough and uneven with cut marks on the surface. The object has a greyish brown patina.
