Rim sherd of a Late Iron Age "saucepan" pot. length 80mm, width 80mm and between 7mm and 9mm thick. Weight 70.71g. It can be estimated that when the vessel was complete it would have been between 25cm and 30cm in diameter at the rim. The vessel is crudely made and is tempered with sub-round and sub-angular pieces of chalk. Coil junctions are visible within the abraded breaks. The matrix is reddish grey (Munsell colour 5YR 5/4).
