The finger-ring contains a minimum of 10% precious metal and is probably over 300 years old as it was found together with a coin dating to the early 17th century. Single coins do not normally qualify as Treasure however this coin was found in association with an item of Treasure it therefore fulfils the requirements of the Treasure Act 1996.
