Lead musket ball. Cast ball with two intersecting slashes on its surface, and a dimple opposite, possibly from the end of the ram rod. Patinated overall. The cutting of the shot may be a deliberate attempt to improve its lethality, which might hint at military usage. The mass, at over an ounce, is also apt for a muzzle loading firearm of military specification. Suggested date: Post-Medieval, 1600-1800.
